Too bad the West isn’t included. My husband of 38yrs. has a very bad back(14yrs.) that nobody can do anything for. Anyway, our problem is our bedroom. It’s almost impossible to sleep with him what with all the thrashing and moving about he does. He spends alot of time lying down so he has alot of stereo and video equipment in the room. It looks real bad and very crowded. I have actually put together my own room in the basement. Anyhow if you ever decide to include us Westeners in some of your shows, contact me please. I watch many, many of them and really enjoy them and get lots of good ideas. W.

Too bad that saskatchewan isn’t included. we purchased our house a few years ago and started doing little reno’s to it as much as we could and found problem after problem after problem! the house was build in 1935, and are finding more and more problems. thinking there is just no way we can make this home look like a cosy family home. it had no insulation in the walls we just blew in for a quick fix cuz we had a baby on the way, the wiring is a mess, it has a well in the basement, and a big old oil furnace, the windows are only one pane, so the house is still very cold in the winter. it also has an addition on it built in 1985 that was never finished so it has absolutly no heat on that side of the house. so the baby sleeps in our small bedroom the side of the house with the heat. we are afraid of what we’ll find next when we do some more reno’s….really wish you could help. but i’ll keep watching you shows i enjoy them very much and see what ideas we can come with to try and make this house better before it falls down or something, hahaha. thank you

Again its to bad Saskatchewan is not included. We watch TV too, especially during our long winters. My husband and I purchased an acreage home last yeat and bit off more than we can fit in our mouth. We have a 2 and a half story four square with no insulation. we are currently knocking the lathe and plaster out in order to insulate. My husband is a long distance trucker so most of the demo is up to me. Money is short so cant hire a lot of help even if we could find people that wanted to work. I think mayby its time for a show on renovations in the prairies.

    Hello,
I’ve been searching and searching for a show to help me with my master bedroom/dressing/bathroom project. The closest I’ve found was Hammerheads and I’m just about 15 – 20 miles out of their range. Please, please, there has to be a show that will come and do a makeover for a terrific person (me) in the Orange County, CA area. Anyone out there, please, please e-mail me.
    Thanks

It’ is to bad you aren’t able to come to Saskatchewan. I have a family of 6 plus I run a licensed daycare (6 children) out of my home. Our home is only 800 sq. ft. on one level. About 3 years ago one of my daycare parents gave up her child and asked me to take him. He has alot of anger and behavior problems and we could use help combining our family and utilizing our tiny space

I’ve been searching for sometime and it seems that none of the home improvement shows come to my area of the Central Valley of California (Fresno CA). We have a beautiful old home built in the late 70′s and our entire home is dated. The only thing we’ve done is replace the “GREEN” 70′s shag! We tried removing the “GREEN” wallpaper in the master with no luck…It’s really stuck on the drywall. We have been living in the master for a year now trying to figure out how to procede. Yes, it would be nice for someone to come to Fresno CA…but hey, it’s Fresno and no one wants to come here! If you decide to come to Fresno…please email me. My family is great Greeks and Hungarians…a super mix!

I am a divorced lady on a fixed income. I am the caretaker for my 87 year old Mother who lives with me. I have lived in my home for 38 years. When the home was built, it didn’t have a dishwasher. There is no space in my very small kitchen to put a dishwasher. There is a bar dividing my kitchen area and eating area. I think the bar can be removed and swing it over to the wall in the eating area, add more cabinets, and at the same time give me room for a much needed dishwasher. I am hoping to be able to be considered for a free (or almost free) makeover from HGTV, but I don’t know how to get there. Please let me know by email, smith.vic@att.net, how I can be considered, or please forward this comment to the proper person or place. I just got my computer, and I am not very computer savy. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been on a search for a home reno program in Alberta, and have come to a conclusion that there isn’t one. We have a small house that my husband has been trying to make into a beutifull home for our family of four. But we have, simply put, been running out of time and money to complete. Some project we are stumped on how to complete. Not to go into too much detail, our family has been hit hard financialy due to medical expences for our two boys. In the last three years they have both gone through a bone marrow transplants and full rounds of chemo prior to relapses. It sure would be a relief for our family to have some expert help. If there is any way possible to be considered for a program please contact us. Thank you in advance.

Not a project for the weak of heart. My university son and 5 of his friends have been living in a home we bought in Victoria. Now that he is completing his studies, we are looking to change the house from a university dorm to a real home. Anyone know any shows that would love to spend some time in beautiful British Columbia turning a house into a home in preparation for selling?

We live in Michigan. Not to far from Canada. Wish you could help us out. Live in a ranch with attached apartment. Our daughter-inlaw and grandson will be moving into the apartment. Needs much improvement. Our son is currently serving in the military and is overseas. We are trying to help them out financially by letting his wife and son live here rent free.

My grandma of 92 years of age, went down to Abbottsford over Christmas to keep her daughter company for a couple weeks. Grandma owns a beautiful rural home in Northern BC. She has a caretaker to enable her to stay in the comfort of her home.
Due to poor communication in the family, everyone thought that the other was checking on the home. No one ended up checking the home for weeks. The water pump ended up running for a very long time! The insurance company says it’s one of the worst cases ever and there will be no coverage.
Grandma, in the meanwhile, has fallen a couple times so her stay in Abbottsford has been extended.
We haven’t told Grandma about this occurrence to her home! We are hoping that the situation could be fixed so it doesn’t completely devastate her!
Is there anywhere we can turn to for help? Please let me know if you have any suggestions!
    Thank You!
