Often we forget the little guy, the SMB, in our discussions of the comings and goings of the Internet marketing industry. Sure there are times like this when a report surfaces talking about their issues and concerns but, for the most part, we like to talk about big brands and how they do the Internet marketing thing well or not so well.

We did some renovation recently and have some leftover construction materials that we would like to sell. The stuff is as good as new and we are offering it at a fraction of the store prices.

Find more details at http://www.rohitn.com/homeinfo/ItemsSale.html

We are located in Oak Park, IL. If you have any better ideas as to how can we reach localites who are interested in buying this stuff, please share them with us.

Thanks!

30% can be great but with our previous experience, there are so many hidden charges and unexpected concerns that arise along the way.

Hello!
I own a house designer firm and 30% of the designs we are creating are for existing homes: home additions such as sunroom, garage, exterior embellishment, etc...

I definitely agree with the 30% (from personnal experience & what I am hearing from our clients). With home renovation, you think you are in control at the beginning, but you don't know what you will discover when opening some walls, especially if you are not the first owner!

There is also the "while we are doing this... maybe we should also do this..." syndrome.

I think 30% is fair enough so you could still have a small buffer for an unexpected expenses arising in renovation.

30 % it is surprise! I think that it is worth it to put the time and money into fixing up your house because when you sell it, it will have way more resell value to it.

Good morning. Im a home renovator and I'll tell you that 15% over run is dangerously low as an estimate. I tell people I do work for to count on 30%, stick to the plan, changes cost time and material. Turn off hgtv and stop talking to your friends while you're doing your house. all this add money and time to the job
